Philo vs John Glenn (4/29)
On the road again in New Concord, the Electrics were lighting up the scoreboard early again with all of their six points accounted for by the top of the third inning and had a commanding 6 – 2 lead after four innings, but the Lil’ Muskies were not done fighting and they tacked on six runs in the fifth and sixth innings to take the win at 8 – 6
Philo vs Morgan (4/26)
On Friday the boys from Duncan Falls traveled south to Morgan County to take on the Raiders. The game was going well with Philo taking a 4 – 1 lead by the end of the fourth inning, but Morgan was able to tack on a run in the bottom of the sixth and three more in the bottom of the seventh that went unanswered by the Electrics who fell 5 – 4 after seven innings.
Philo vs Meadowbrook (4/25)
After traveling to Meadowbrook, the Electrics opened the game with a quick 1 – 0 lead in the top of the first inning, but soon after the Colts wrapped up the inning with four runs of their own taking the lead at 4 – 1. The Electrics were able to tie up the game in the top of the second inning but then a late-inning rally in the fourth from Meadowbrook left the Electrics battling back from a 10 – 4 deficit, unfortunately, the Duncan Falls team was only able to get one more run in the game before losing to the Colts by a score of 12 – 5.
Philo vs Maysville (4/23)
The Philo Electrics hosted the Maysville Panthers on Tuesday where Maysville stole the lead right away with a five-run first inning followed by a two-run second, and a three-run third inning to be ahead 10 – 1 by the end of the first three innings. Philo didn’t get the chance to tie the game as the Panther’s defenses kept them from scoring again and the Maysville team walked away with a 12 – 1 win in game two.
Philo vs Maysville (4/22)
In game one of a two-game set, the Electrics traveled to Maysville to face the Panthers. Both teams were battling but it was Philo who managed to increase their runs after the first inning grabbing five runs in the second and three runs in the third taking their lead to 9 – 3. Maysville was able to climb up to the nine-run mark, but not before the Electrics added a few more for good measure and they walked away with the 13 – 9 win.
Philo vs Fort Frye (4/20)
The Cadets traveled to Duncan Falls on Saturday to play the Electrics. Philo capitalized on shutting out the top of the first and second innings by getting a run in the bottom of the first, followed by four more runs in the bottom of the second to take a 5 – 0 lead. By the bottom of the third inning, they had grown their lead to 8 – 1. The batters for Fort Frye found their way in the top of the fourth inning as they landed seven runs thanks to a few singles and a couple of triples to make the score 9 – 8 Philo. By the end of the sixth inning, Fort Frye had capped out their score at 12 to take a final win over Philo 12 -10.
