Avitas Med-Spa celebrated its grand opening on June 5 at 172 S. Friendship Dr., New Concord with a Ribbon Cutting hosted by the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce.
“It’s been very exciting. A lot of footwork, getting flyers out, and just bringing in clients. It is going very well so far,” said owner Tracey Eagleeye.
The business was founded two years ago with a focus on weight loss treatments in Byesville, Ohio. As the business grew it was necessary to move into a full med spa to offer more services so they decided to open Avitas Med-Spa in New Concord to bring their suite of services to the community.
“We figured well maybe we should move into a full med spa and offer more services so we started scouting out places to go and Cambridge had a few, Byesville had some, but New Concord did not, so we decided well we’ll start looking at New Concord. So we came here and bought this place, put a little into it to get it beautified, and here we are!” said Eagleeye.
Financing is also offered with a full-body plan created specifically for each customer and a payment schedule established that allows for services to be performed over time.
Avitas Med-Spa offers a wide selection of beauty treatments including facials, hydro facials, wrinkle relaxors, infusions, weight loss injectables, fillers, eyebrow tinting and lamination, dermaplaning, and waxing for both men and women.
