The Tri-Valley Cross Country Boosters hosted an evening Christmas in July 10k/5k race throughout the Dillon State Park campus in Nashport on July 20. The event was a fundraiser for the Cross Country team.
All participants received a custom finisher’s medal and a race shirt. Age group awards were also presented to top finishers.
In the 10k race, the top finishers were Graham Hudson of Dresden in first with a time of 40:31.4, followed by Kreg Robinson of Clarington, and Matthew Fellows of Dresden.
The top three finishers for the 5krace were Alexander Hogue of Adamsville with a time of 19:03.2 followed by second and third places which went to H. Boyd of Nashport and Benjamin Beebe of Zanesville respectively.
There were 22 registered 10k runners and 39 who were timed during the 5k. Participants ranged in age from 12 to 77 years of age.
