Vs West Holmes (2/18)
The Panthers hosted the West Holmes nights this time for their first postseason game where fresh off their matchup a few days earlier, the Panthers found no surprises and pushed forward to an 80 – 54 blast-off start to their postseason.
The Panthers host the Claymont MIustangs on Friday in OHSAA tournament play with the game starting at 7 PM.
Vs West Holmes (2/15)
The West Holmes Knights hosted Maysville on Saturday for a little non-conference squaring off that led to a 69 – 50 take-home victory for the Panthers.
Gator Nichols scored 25 points, had three rebounds, and two assists to finish the night. Kane Roehrig had 13 points, and four rebounds. Jordyn Watson had 12 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.
Vs Philo (2/14)
On their trip to Philo on Friday, the Panthers were ready to go and took control of the ball early on to eventually pull out a big 66 – 25 win over the Electrics.
Gator Nichols had 18 points, three rebounds, and one assist in the game. Jordyn Watson had 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
Vs Tri-Valley (2/11)
Maysville played host to the Tri-Valley Scotties from Dresden on Tuesday night in a big game that ran neck and neck throughout the entire night, with the Scotties taking the final advantage for the closest of wins at 65 – 64.
The night also marked Gator Nichol’s 1000th career point.
Vs Meadowbrook (2/7)
The Panthers hosted the Colts on Friday for a blowout of scoring by Maysville that ended with a huge 64 – 26 victory over Meadowbrook.
For the game, Gator Nichols had 25 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Classmate Landon Iden had 11 points for the Panthers, with two rebounds, three assists, and a steal.
