Vs John Glenn (2/21)
The Electrics hopped on the bus Friday to head to nearby New Concord, where they were set to take on John Glenn in a tournament game. Although the Lil’ Muskies were the favored winners in the game, the Electrics held their own in the first quarter, staying within one shot with John Glenn, who took a 19 – 16 lead at the end of the first quarter. Philo kept on their toes, staying in step with the Muskies as they doubled their score to stay within three points as they headed to the halftime break down 35 – 32.
When the intermission was over, the Lil’ Muskies turned up the heat, routing around the Philo defenses and adding points to their lead as they took the third quarter by a score of 54 – 45. As the last minutes rolled through the clock, the Electrics tried to rally forward with a 19-point quarter, but the Muskies put up 22 points of their own to take the win with the final score of 76 – 64.
For Philo Talon Preston had 19 points, Rusty Trout had 17 points, Camden Stoner had nine, Cooper Radcliffe had five, Slade Sprankle, Griffin Harper, and Carter Crabtree each had four points, and Logan Lyon put up two.
The Electrics wrapped up their season with a 7 – 16 overall record.
