The Zanesville winners were No.1 singles, Connor Baldwin defeated Logan Keck, 6-3, 6-3, no.2 singles, Karter Bludnick downed William Hunt 6-4, 6-4, at no.1 doubles, Steven Morrison, Dhruv Patel won over Hannah Custer, Mazel Borer, 6-1, 6-0, Logan’s wins came at no.3 singles where Jacob Weis downed Subh Patel 6-3, 6-4, in 2nd doubles a match shorted by time limit was won by Logan 6-2. Zanesville is now 4 – 2 on the season.
Vs. Coshocton (4/11)
The Blue Devils grabbed a win Friday evening, 4 – 1 over Coshocton. Winners for Zanesville. At No.1 singles Karter Bludnick 6-3, 7-5 over Chase Davelik, No.2 singles, Subh Patel, downed Jackson Malaufirozo 6-1, 6-0, at No.1 doubles the team of Steven Morrison, Dhruv Patel defeated Jaci Aronhalt, Wey Baylor, 6-1,6-0, the No.2 doubles team of Andres Limon, Clifton Birchett won over Bri Fink, Kristina Haines 6- 2, 6-0, Coshocton’s lone win came at no.3 singles where Emma Jackson won a hard-fought 4-6, 4-6, match to Chase Gillogly.
Vs. Fisher Catholic (4/7)
Zanesville won 5 -0 over Lancaster Fisher on Monday. Winners for ZHS. No.1 singles Connor Baldwin over Sammy McGill 6-4, 6-4 no. 2 singles Karter Bludnick downed Joey Ellis 6-4, 6 -7, 12 -10 in a super tiebreaker. at no.3 singles Subv Patel defeated Ellison Lambert 6-2, 6-1, In 1st doubles play Steven Morrison and Dhruv downed Angelina Guerrara, Ava Warrens 6-2, 6-4, 2nd doubles Andre Limon, Clifton Birchett dropped Verduca Springer, Abby Triplett 6 – 4, 6 – 4.

The Zanesville boys tennis team lost a tough 4 – 1 match to Newark on Wednesday. The match was a lot closer than the score indicated. One of the boys lost a super tiebreaker at 2nd singles. 1st singles ZHS. Connor Baldwin dropped a 3-6, 4-6 match to Newark, Evan Devries, No.2 singles Karter Bludnick lost a tough 6 -4, 2 -6, 8-10 Super tiebreaker match to Layton Shaner, 1st doubles Steven Morrison, Dhruv Patel, dropped a 3-6, 4- 6 match to Grayson Boyer, Victor Gleckler, 2nd doubles Isaac Devries Brad Pastorius of Newark won over the ZHS team of Adres Limon, Clifton Birchett, 1-6, 4- 6. The lone win for ZHS was at no.3 singles, where Freshman Subh Patel downed Kellen Grace, 7-6, 6-1.
