Maysville Track –
In their most recent Tri-Meet featuring track teams from Crooksville and Coshocton, Maysville’s Gavin Duncan took second place in the Boys 200 Meter Dash with a time of 24.86. Jason Wills came in at third place in the Boys 400 Meter Dash. For the Boys 800 Meter Run, Greyson Wood had a time of 2:14.86 to get third place. Senior Colin Mathers pulled in top marks in both the Boys 110 Meter Hurdles as well as the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles with times of 18.43 and 44.62, respectively. Maysville also beat Coshocton in the Boys 4 x 100 Meter Relay and the Boys 4 x 200 Meter Relay. Owen Rusnack took third in the Boys High Jump, while Gavin Duncan took fourth for Maysville in the Boys Long Jump. Ashton Hartman and Colin Mathers finished first and second in the Boys Pole Vault. Connor Young was the second-place finisher in the Boys Discus with a distance of 132-5.
Aaliyah Whitehair won the Girls 100 Meter Dash with a time of 13.13, followed in second place by teammate Emma Tamasovich. Aaliyah also took first in the Girls 200 Meter Dash with a time of 27.83, with Tamasovich taking third and Gabby Bailey taking fourth for Maysville. Olivia Rusnak finished in second place in the Girls 800 Meter Run. Maysville took first and third in the Girls 4 x 100 Meter Relay and second and third places in the Girls 4 x 200 Meter Relay. Maysville finished second in the Girls 4 x 400 Meter Relay and took top billing in the Girls 4 x 800 Meter Relay. Emma Tamasovich was the top scorer in the Girls Long Jump with a mark of 17-2.5. Bella Van Wey won the Girls Discus with a mark of 127-8 followed in second place by her teammate Skylar Valentine. Van Wey also won the Girls Shot Put with a mark of 40-8, and Valentine picked up third place in the competition.
West Muskingum Tri-Meet (4/30)
West M’s Jax Prang took second place in the Boys 100 Meter Dash, followed closely by teammate Tavyn Hains, who took second in the competition. Carter Smith was the top finisher in the Boys 400 Meter Dash with a time of 54.01. In the Boys 800 Meter Run, Carson Rhoades was the first finisher with a time of 2:23.50. Grant Kennedy was atop the podium for the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles with a time of 46.92, with Gavyn Johnson right behind in second place. West Muskingum won the 4 x 100 Meter Relay with a time of 44.83. And two teams of Tornado track stars took first and second place in the Boys 4 x 200 Meter Relay. West M was also the top finisher in the Boys 4 x 400 Meter Relay. Carter Smith was the winner in the Boys High Jump with a mark of 5-10, with Nikolai Lento in second place. Austin Fink took first in the Boys Long Jump with a mark of 18-0.5. Joey Miller was the second-place finisher in the Boys Shot Put. Kameron Skowronski placed fourth in the Mens Discus.
Brooklyn Kennedy was the first-place finisher in the Girls 100 Meter Dash with a time of 13.99. Ceci Stark took fourth place in the competition as well. In the Girls 200 Meter Dash, Kaydance Bressett took second while teammates Bentley Beisser and Molly Spiker took third and fourth places, respectively. Kaydance also picked up second place in the Girls 400 Meter with Maria Hill right behind in third place, and Clare McCabe in fourth. McCabe took second in the Girls 800 Meter Run, with Ayla Mowery taking third. Haylee Scheide was the top finisher in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles at a time of 53.33, with Reese Kullman pulling second place. Molly Spiker was the top finisher for the Girls High Jump with a mark of 4-10. Kaydance Bressett took first in the Girls Long Jump with a mark of 15-11.25, followed in second place by Maria Hill, and in fourth place by Mady Paul. In the Girls Triple Jump, Maria Hill took first with a mark of 31-3. Kloe Hershey took first place for West Muskingum in the Girls Discus with a mark of 93-0 while Jaida St. Clair took third place in the event for the Lady Tornadoes. Hershey also took first in the Girls Shot Put event with a mark of 31-5. Molly Spiker took second place in the event.
Philo, Bishop Rosecrans, Zanesville Track Teams –
The following results are from the Electrics Invitational on April 25th.
Brody Zemba took fourth place for Bishop Rosecrans in the Boys 100 Meter Dash. Aidan Mahon of Philo was the top finisher in the Boys 200 Meter Dash with a time of 22.64. Brody Zemba was the fourth-place finisher in the event for the Bishops. Aidan Mahon was the second-place finisher in the Boys 400 Meter Dash for Philo. The Electric’s Anthony Stidom took the fourth-place spot in the Boys 1600 Meter Run. Philos Deacon Scott was the top placer in the Boys 110 Meter Hurdles with a time of 15.30, followed in second place by teammate Alex Evans. Rosecrans Conner Wells took fourth place in the event. For the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles Philo’s Alex Evans placed third with Zanesville’s Camron Wilett following right behind in fourth place. Zanesville placed first in the Boys 4 x 200 Meter Relay, they also placed fourth in the Boys 4 x 800 Meter Relay. Aidan Mahon took the top mark for the Boys High Jump with a mark of 6-3 and the first-place spot in the Boys Long Jump with a mark of 21-2.25. Bishop Rosecran’s Tizian Schmelzer took second place in the event, and Aeydyn Well placed third for Zanesville. Titus Morrow was the second-place winner for Boys Pole Vault while Philo’s Deacon Scott and Jacob Savage followed in third and fourth places, respectively. Christian Long took second place in both the Boys Discus and Boys Shot Put events for Philo. Ben Jackson took third place in Shot Put for Bishop Rosecrans.
Halli Harris took first in the Girls 100 Meter Dash for Philo with a time of 13.12. She also took first in the Girls 200 Meter Dash with a time of 27.07. Aniah Barnett was the second-place finisher in the Girls 200 Meter Dash for Zanesville, followed by Aubree DeLong from Philo in fourth. The Blue Devil’s Avery Crook was the fourth-place finisher in the Girls 800 Meter Run. Shelbie Hammersley was the fourth-place finisher for the Girls 3200 Meter Run for Zanesville. Aubree DeLong finished second in the Girls 100 Meter Hurdles for Philo, followed by Zanesville’s Gianna Grandstaff in fourth place. Makenna Staker from Philo took third in the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles. Philo finished third in the Girls 4 x 100 Meter Relay with Zanesville following in fourth. Bishop Rosecrans took a fourth-place finish for the Girls 4 x 200 Meter Relay. Philo was the fourth finisher in the Girls 4 x 400 Meter Relay. Zanesville took second in the Girls 4 x 800 Meter Relay. Halli Harris from Philo was the top placer in the Girls Long Jump with a mark of 15-9.75. Teammate Delylah Boetcher finished second in the Girls Pole Vault. Dana Murdock placed third in the Girls Discus for Zanesville. Teammate Isabella Jarrett was the second-place finisher in the Girls Shot Put.
John Glenn Track –
At the Indian Valley Bell Legacy Invitational on April 25th, John Glenn’s Jessica Church took first place in the Girls 100 Meter Dash with a time of 13.49. She was also the top finisher in the Girls 200 Meter Dash, coming in at 27.50. Church continued her winning streak with a top time of 1:00.70 in the Girls 400 Meter Dash, followed in second by teammate Faith Saxton. Ashlynn Kuklica took the Girls 3200 Meter Run with a time of 11:33.76. Brenna Milliner took fourth in the GIrls 300 Meter Hurdles. The John Glenn team finished first in the Girls 4 x 400 Meter Relay and third in the Girls 4 x 800 Meter Relay. Sadie Gardinsky won the Girls High Jump with a mark of 4-10. Brayden Snider had a mark of 16-7 in the Girls Long Jump to win the event.
