Dresden Swim Center played host to the visiting Valley View Gators as they came to try and outswim the Dorados but the hometown team dove their way to victory.
For the meet that took place on Wednesday, June 22nd, the Dorados grabbed a number of first-place finishes including first in the boys 9-10 100-yard medley with a team of Jude Hugebeck, Bryan Jiang, Kamden Buckner, and Creed Fuhriman who swam in at a time of 1:47.88
Grasping a first-place entry for the girls 11-12 200-yard medley was a team of Erin Lewis, Lydia Collet, Addison Durst, and Stella Fuhriman with a time of 2:41.72. The girls also got first in the 13-14 200 yard medley with a team of Sarah Jacoby, Lily Grewell, Leila Hawk, and Riley Gottardi at a time of 2:16.48
For the boys 13 – 14 200-yard medley the Dorados topped the list again with a team of Liam Clinard, Tyler Mohler, AJ Lawler, and Sam Wegner swimming in at a time of 2:04.94. The girls 15-18 200 yard medley was led by the Dorados team of Dani Stewart, Mia Fuhriman, Abri Mallet, and Jesi Fuhriman with a time of 2:09.74.
The boys 15-18 200-yard medley was won by the Dorados team of John Herrera, Gabe Lentz, Tillman Hawk, and Jamison Adams with a time of 2:33.72.
The Dorados took a number of individual first-place wins with the boys team bringing in an overall score of 207 to Valley View’s 130. The girls also brought in a 207 to Valley View’s 205 giving the Dorados the win with 414 points and Valley View went home with 342 points.
