On Saturday, October 14 in Dresden at The Dawg House, Coach Dani Lamonica’s Tri-Valley Lady Dawg volleyball squad defeated the visiting Licking Valley Lady Panthers 25-10, 25-18, 25-12 in a non-conference game in their final regular season contest on their 2023 schedule.
With the win, Tri-Valley finished the regular season with an overall record of 13-9 and 11-5 in Muskingum Valley League action.
It was also Senior Day for Tri-Valley, as the five Lady Dawg senior volleyball players were recognized and honored alongside their parents in a ceremony ahead of the TV vs LV game. They are: Kenzie Albertson, Landyn Andrews, Samantha Cameron, Eva Dittmar, and Caity Journey.
Here’s a look at the statistics In the Lady Dawgs win over Licking Valley: Addison Wilson (four kills, four aces, two blocks and 15/16 serving), Ingrid Dittmar (28 assists), Kenzie Albertson (one ace, six digs, and 7/7 serving), Caity Journey (seven digs), Annika Collet (nine kills), Landy Andrews (two aces, and 12/12 serving), Eva Dittmar (10 kills and eight digs), and Iris lacy (five kills).

Back on Thursday night, October 12 on the road at Muskingum Valley League small school division foe Coshocton, the Lady Dawgs defeated the host Lady Redskins in a competitive four sets 21-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-23.
Statistical leaders for the winning Lady Dawgs included: Addison Wilson (three aces and 16/17 serving), Samantha Cameron (six blocks), Ingrid Dittmar (30 assists, two aces, and 15/16 serving), Annika Collet (nine kills, and six blocks), Landyn Andrews (six digs), Eva Dittmar (25 kills, and 10 digs), and Iris Lacy (five kills).
Back on Tuesday night, October 10 in Dresden at The Dawg House, the Lady Dawgs hosted a strong New Lexington squad in an MVL big school vs. small school crossover contest. The visiting Lady Panthers prevailed 25-23, 25-14, 22-25, 25-15 over the host Lady Dawgs. (New Lexington shared the Muskingum Valley League small school championship with Meadowbrook).
Statistical leaders for the Lady Dawgs included: Eva Dittmar (15 kills, three aces), Annika Collet (6 kills), Ingrid Dittmar (26 assists), Kenzie Albertson (11 digs), and Caity Journey (four aces).
Back on Thursday night, October 5 on the road at Muskingum Valley League defending champion Sheridan, the Lady Dawgs were defeated in three sets 25-20, 25-16, 25-23.
Statistical leaders for the Lady Dawgs included: Addison Wilson (two aces, and 10/11 serving), Samantha Cameron (two blocks), Ingrid Dittmar (seven digs, and two blocks), Caity Journey (10 digs), Annika Collet (two blocks), Landyn Andrews (nine for nine serving), Eva Dittmar (16 kills and 19 assists), and Iris Lacy with two blocks.
As the Dresden Buzz goes to the presses on Wednesday, October 18, Tri-Valley hits the road for their first OHSAA post season tournament game. Competing in the OHSAA highly talented and competitive Division I, Central District 1 bracket as the No. 25 seed, the Lady Dawgs will tackle No. 20 seed Logan, on the Lady Chieftains home floor in Round 2 tourney play. Logan defeated No. 28 seed Teays Valley 25-21, 25-14, 25-20 on Monday night, October 16 at Logan.
