Local artist lends talent to “Color Our World” through mural honoring community on Roseville Branch Library

Members of the Roseville community and MCLS staff helped Zanesville artist Raymond Ramos (far left) paint an outdoor mural on the Roseville Branch Library. The mural features elements that are inspired by Roseville’s history. Ramos has also painted other murals in the county, including the beautiful floral mural enhancing the side entrance of Florafinos on Maple Avenue in Zanesville. His oil paintings on canvas can be viewed on his website www.ramosarts.com. The project at the Roseville Branch Library coincided with this year’s Summer Reading theme: Color Our World. Summer Reading is open to all ages and runs through July 31. Sign up by visiting muskingumlibrary.org/summerreading2025. While there, look for other events and programs planned throughout the summer.
