At the September19, Lion Jeff Garver was given the Lion of the month for helping with club and community projects.
PDG Steve Tyo of the Duncan Falls-Philo Lions Club came and talked about the expansion of the Miracle League of Muskingum Valley Ohio. The complex is located beside the Starlight School. The Miracle League has received more land in front of the current baseball field toward St. Rt. 146. The Miracle League is wanting to expand to offer other sports events and a walking trail for handicap people and their families. Ohio District 13K and Muskingum County Lions clubs, and a grant from Lions International helped with the present restroom when the complex was built a few years ago.
The Leo Club members at the Tri-Valley Middle School have met and will do some fall projects in Frazeysburg and Dresden.
