The 2019 Adamsville Homecoming will begin with a parade on Wednesday, July 17th at 6:30 pm followed by four days of rides, nightly bingo, entertainment, and fun! On the final day, Saturday, there will be fireworks at dusk. Check out the full schedule below.

2019 Adamsville Homecoming Parade Marshals are Carl and Linda Vernon
Carl and Linda are lifelong residents of the Adamsville area. Carl is the eldest son of Bryce and Geneva Vernon. Linda is the daughter of Bryce and Lilliebelle Lapp. They have operated their 500 acre farm since their marriage in 1968. Their 3 sons have blessed them with a great family. Rob and Bobbi with their children Bryce, Brielle and Brant. Rich and Leslie with their boys Cutter, Tanner and Copper. Ryan and Shannon with their boys Cole and Coy.
Linda worked as an assistant Optometrist for 2 years and a retail associate for 15 years. She has been a New Hope Lutheran Church council member for 25 years.
Carl worked for the U.S Air Force for 5 years and spent 10 years with the Ohio Air National Guard. He was an active member of the Adamsville Community Fire Department for 12 years and worked for AT&T for 35 years.
Carl and Linda are members of the New Hope Lutheran Church. They have attended and been active in the Adamsville Homecoming for over 65 years.
They are now both retired spend their time taking care of the farm, attending 4-H and sporting events with grandchildren and traveling.

Josie Babcock: She is the daughter of Jason and Tisha Babcock. She graduated from John Glenn High School where she was involved in ski Club, FFA, volleyball, track and 4-H. She was a member of the National Honor Society. She plans on attending Muskingum University in the fall and major in nursing and a minor in psychology.
Attendants
Kendra Clapper: She is the daughter of Steve and Stephanie Clapper. She graduated from Tri-Valley High School. She was involved in FFA and archery. Her plans are to become a RN and get her class A CDL license.
Maddy Barnett: She is the daughter of Stephanie Barnhouse and Joe Barnett. She is a graduate of John Glenn High School and she attended OUZ part-time. She was involved in FFA, cross country and track. She is a current member of the Zane Trace Riders 4-H club. Her plans are to attend Ohio University Zanesville to major in nursing.

Avery Babcock: He is the son of Joe and Tawny Babcock. He is 8 years old and a 2 ND grader at New Concord Elementary School. In his spare time, he plays football and baseball and shows 4-H show calves at the Muskingum County Fair.
Flower Girl
Maggie Babcock daughter of Chad and Molly Babcock. She is 7 years old and is a 2 ND grader at New Concord Elementary School. In her spare time, she plays softball, cheers and shows 4-H show pigs at the Muskingum County Fair.
