In a show of force on Saturday, February 15th at the Rich Longaberger Court in Dresden, the Lady Dawgs dominated visiting Carrollton with a massive 40 point lead to win at 65 – 25.
In the playoff opener coach Kurt Kaufman’s Lady Dawgs proved that they were on the war path to win as they ran the game from start to finish. Carrollton defense couldn’t even slow down the girls let alone stop them. The 4th quarter of play featured a running clock due to the over 30 point lead that the Lady Scotties had amassed during the game.
An outmatched and just exhausted Carrollton team was devastated as they walked off the court after the final buzzer at a 65 – 25 loss.
After the game Coach Kaufman as well as Athletic Director Erin Nezbeth presented the Varsity girls with the MVL trophy followed by a cutting down of the net ceremony.
