On Wednesday, the swim team from Huntington Hills came to Dresden Swim Center to face off against the Dorados. In the Girls 9-10 100 Yard Medley Relay, the Dorados team of Candace Shipp, Maddie Dougherty, Regan Stanberry, and Olivia Thornton took first place with a time of 1:33.00, followed in third place by the team of Harper Landerman, Hensley Kaiser, Aluana Emmert, and Emery Stewart. In the Boys 9-10 100 Yard Medley Relay, the Dorados team of Carter Cunningham, Henry Nicholson, Matt Smith, and Bryce Butterworth took second place.
The Dorados took third place in the Girls 11-12 200 Yard Medley Relay with the team of Ashlynn Lewellen, Kenzie Roach, Reese Espenlaub, and Addie Martin. The Team of Kamden Buckner, Creed Fuhriman, Wade Jones, and Kendrick Kimble took second place in the Boys 11-12 200 Yard Medley Relay.
In the Girls 13-14 200 Yard Medley Relay, the Dorados team of Riley Espenlaub, Camryn Cunningham, Stella Fuhriman, and Kylie Martin swam in at second place. The team of Rayah Gillard, Addison Dailey, Hilary Stirling, and Lennon Tompkins took third place in the event. The team of Ammon Martin, Ben Smith, Bryan Jiang, and Parker Hendrix took second in the Boys 13-14 200 Yard Medley Relay for the Dorados. In the Womens 15-18 200 Yard Medley Relay, the Dorados team of Sarah Jacoby, Lily Grewell, Riley Gottardi, and Savannah Brooks took first place with a time of 2:09.78. The Dorados team of Britany Hammond, Nora Breece, Leila Hawk, and Allison Scurlock took third place in the event.
The Dorados took first place in the Mens 15-18 200 Yard Medley with the team of Tanner Mohler, Coen Fuhriman, Tyler Mohler, and Dallin Stirling.
Maddie Dougherty took third place for the Dorados in the Girls 9-10 100 Yard IM, while teammate Reese Espenlaub took third in the Girls 11-12 100 Yard IM. Wade Jones was the third-place finisher in the Boys 11-12 100 Yard IM. In the Girls 13-14 100 Yard IM, Camryn Cunningham was the second-place swimmer.
Brian Jiang swam in at the third-place position in the Boys 13-14 100 Yard IM. Savannah Brooks took second place in the Womens 15-18 100 Yard IM with teammate Sarah Jacoby right behind in third place.
Garrett Stirling was the top finisher in the Mens 15-18 100 Yard IM with a time of 1:06.23, with Dallin Stirling finishing neck and neck in second place with a time of 1:06:31.
Ellison Stanbery was the third-place swimmer in the Girls 6 & Under 25 Yard Freestyle for the Dordados. Nolan Fry took second place in the Boys 6 & Under 25 Yard Freestyle. Rowan Fry took the top spot in the Girls 7-8 25 Yard Freestyle with a time of 21.17. For the Boys 7-8 25 Yard Freestyle, Warren Stover took top billing with a time of 20.58.
Olivia Thornton’s time of 17.64 in the Girls 9-10 25 Yard Freestyle was enough to give her first place, with teammate Emery Stewart pulling out a third-place finish. The Dorados swept the top three spots in the Boys 9-10 25 Yard Freestyle with Henry Nicholson getting the first-place time of 17.72 with teammates Matt Smith and Carter Cunningham taking second and third, respectively.
Similarly, in the Womens 15-18 50 Yard Freestyle, the Dorados left no room in the top spots with Sarah Jacoby taking first with a time of 28.74 while Riley Gottardi and Britany Hammond took second and third in order.
Tyler Mohler swam in at a time of 22.73 in the Mens 15-18 50 Yard Freestyle to take first. Tanner Mohler was third in the same event.
Aspen Rainwater was the third-place finisher in the Girls 11-12 50 Yard Freestyle. Creed Fuhriman was the fastest swimmer in the Boys 11-12 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 29.18, with teammate Ammon Marting coming in second. Stella Fuhriman’s time of 29.19 in the Girls 13-14 50 Yard Freestyle gave her top marks, while teammates Kylie Martin and Camryn Cunningham took positions directly behind her.
Brian Jiang took second in the Boys 13-14 50 Yard Freestyle. Olivia Thornton was first in the Girls 9-10 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 41.59. Candace Shipp and Regan Stanbery were second and third in the event, respectively.
Leila Hawk and Savannah Brooks took second and third place, respectively, in the Womens 15-18 100 Yard Freestyle. JT Allison tied for second in the Mens 15-18 100 Yard Freestyle. Ellison Stanbery and Eloise Cottrell were the second and third place finishers in the Girls 6 & Under 25 Yard Backstroke. Nolan Fry and Lane Kimberley took the top two spots in the Boys 6 & Under 25 Yard Backstroke.
Lillian Cottrell was the top finisher with a time of 26.41 in the Girls 7-8 25 Yard Backstroke. Warren Stover and Liam Williams were the second and third place swimmers in the Boys 7-8 25 Yard Backstroke.
With a time of 23.61, Olivia Thornton was the fastest finisher in the Girls 9-10 25 Yard Backstroke. Carter Cunningham took third in the Boys 9-10 25 Yard Backstroke. Aspen Rainwater was the third-place qualifier in the Girls 11-12 50 Yard Backstroke.
Creed Fuhriman’s time of 38.63 topped the finishers in the Boys 11-12 50 Yard Backstroke, while teammate Wade Jones swam in at second place.
Dorado’s standout swimmer Stella Fuhriman had a time of 33.37 to take first in the Girls 13-14 50 Yard Backstroke. Parker Hendrix finished third in the Boys 13-14 50 Yard Backstroke. Allison Scurlock took second in the Womens 15-18 100 Yard Backstroke.
In the Mens 15-18 100 Yard Backstroke, Tanner Mohler did the best with a time of 1:01.05.
Warren Stover finished first in the Boys 8 & Under 25 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 37.97.
Maddie Dougherty won the Girls 9-10 25 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 25.04, Louise Shipp took third place in the event as well for the Dorados.
Henry Nicholson took first place in the Boys 9-10 25 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 26.58. Ashlynn Lewellen took second place in the Girls 11-12 50 Yard Breaststroke.
Top placement in the Boys 11-12 50 Yard Breaststroke went to Creed Fuhriman, who had a time of 40.10, followed in third by teammate Ammon Martin. Camryn Cunningham took third in the Girls 13-14 50 Yard Breaststroke. Brian Jiang finished second in the Boys 13-14 50 Yard Breaststroke.
Leila Hawk topped the podium in the Womens 15-18 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:18.70, with teammate Lily Grewell pulling up in second. Likewise, Coen Fuhriman finished first in the Mens 15-18 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:13.27
Loise Shipp and Regan Stanbery swam in second and third places in the Girls 9-10 25 Yard Butterfly. Henry Nicholson took second place in the Boys 9-10 25 Yard Butterfly. Luke Reiss took third in the Boys 11-12 50 Yard Butterfly.
Stella Fuhriman took another top finish in the Girls 13-14 50 Yard Butterfly with a time of 31.52, followed in second by Kylie Martin. Savannah Brooks and Riley Gottardi took second and third in the Womens 15-18 50 Yard Butterfly.
The top finish in the Mens 15-18 50 Yard Butterfly went to Tyler Mohler with a time of 25.90, his teammates Dallin Stirling and Garrett Stirling swam in second and third, respectively.
In the Girls 8 & Under 100 Yard Freestyle Relay, the team of Rowan Fry, Miranda Miranda, Zoey Brothers, and Lillian Cottrell took second place for the Dorados. The team of Warren Stover, Liam Williams, Nolan Fry, and Brooks Hoover took second in the Boys 8 & Under 100 Yard Freestyle Relay. Louise Shipp, Hensley Kaiser, Regan Stanbery, and Olivia Thornton teamed up to take second place in the Girls 9-10 100 Yard Freestyle Relay, with the team of Alauna Emmert, Isabella Newman, Emery Stewart, and Maddie Dougherty taking third.
The Dorados team of Henry Nicholson, Matt Smith, Isaac Watson, and Carter Cunningham took second in the Boys 9-10 100 Yard Freestyle. In the Mixed 10 & Under 100 Yard Freestyle Relay, the team of Izzy Householder, Lane Kimberley, Jensen Adams, and Avery Seyerle took second. The Dorados team of Reese Espenlaub, Addie Martin, Kenzie Roach, and Ashlynn Lewellen took third in the Girls 11-12 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
In the Boys 11-12 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the Dorados took top marks with the team of Wade Jones, Ammon Martin, Kamden Buckner, and Creed Fuhriman with a time of 2:20.73. The team of Luke Reiss, Jaxson Adams, Slate McDonald, and Kendrick Kimble took third in the event.
Kylie Martin, Lennon Tompkins, Camryn Cunningham, and Stella Fuhriman comprised the team that took first in the Girls 13-14 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 2:08.66, with the team of Hilary Stirling, Lyla Brownrigg, Addison Dailey, and Nora Breece taking third.
The Dorados team of Bryan Jiang, Meison Simth, Jaxson Dailey, and Parker Hendrix took second in the Boys 13-14 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
In the Womens 15-18 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the team of Sarah Jacoby, Leila Hawk, Riley Gottardi, and Savannah Brooks took a first-place time of 1:55.23, with the team of Britany Hammond, Riley Espenlaub, Allison Scurlock, and Lily Grewell swimming in at third place in the event.
Tanner Mohler, Dallin Stirling, Coen Fuhriman, and Tyler Mohler had a time of 1:38.81 to top the chart in the Mens 15-18 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. The Dorados team of Asher Emmons, Lyla Brownrigg, Rayah Gillard, and Eli Woytko took second place in the final event, the Mixed 11-18 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
