Lady Bishops shut out multiple teams while building record to 10 – 4.

Vs. Licking Valley (9/27)

The Lady Bishops were in Newark on Saturday to play the Panthers. In a show of force within the first half, Rosecrans landed three goals while holding the Panthers scoreless.

During the second half of the game, Licking Valley tried to fire back, but they couldn’t rally around more than one shot, and they ultimately fell to the Bishops 3 – 1.

The Bishops’ next match will be at home against Fairfield Union, with the game time set to be 5:30 PM.

Vs. Logan Elm (9/24)

Bishop Rosecrans hosted a match against the Logan Elm Braves on Wednesday. With a lot of momentum, the Lady Bishops were rolling right through the first half, picking up three goals as they went into halftime.

Back on the field, the Lady Bishops kept pushing ahead, putting up another goal in the third quarter, answered by the Braves with a goal of their own, but they were not able to surpass the Bishops, who won 4 – 1.

Mallory Moody got player of the match for the Bishops.

Vs. Shenandoah (9/22)

On Monday night, the Lady Bishops rode the bus to Sarahsville to play the Zeps. A few minutes into the game, Shenandoah had the wind knocked out of their sails as the Lady Bishops landed goal after goal to jump ahead 3 – 0 in the first half of the game. 

The Zeps upped their defensive strategies in the second half of the game, and it was working for a bit, but Rosecrans was able to squeeze out one more goal while completing a shutout against Shenandoah to take a 4 – 0 win.

The Rosecrans player of the match was Cecilia Shonk.

Vs. Wellington School (9/19)

In Columbus on Friday, the Bishops were looking to run down the Jaguars. With feet on the field, the girls shut out Wellington in the first half while landing a goal to take a 1 – 0 lead. 

The second half of the game was almost a carbon copy of the first, with the Bishops grabbing one more goal to win the match 2 – 0.

The Bishop Rosecran’s player of the match was Ryleigh Maxwell.
