Lady Dawgs cage the Panthers

Tri-Valley Girls Varsity basketball rolled over the Perry Panthers for a 71-41 win on Friday, November 23rd.  

The Scotties were showing what they are made of in a tough battle against Massillon Perry on Friday night in their home opener.  The Lady Dawgs opened the game with a run on the score board bringing in a 25-18 lead by the end of the first period.   The second period was not much better for the Panthers as the Scotties kept dominating the court and were racking up the points to finished the half at 45-28.  

After the intermission the Lady Panthers just couldn’t get a leg up, only managing a mere 4 points in the 3rd period while Tri-Valley continued to bring the heat ending the period at 58-32.  Rounding out the night the Panthers did try to make a bit of a comeback landing 9 points in the fourth period but the Scotties answered back with 12 points of their own and locked down the win with a final score of 71-41 Scotties!  Way to go girls!
