This year NINETEEN bands of all sizes will perform at Jack Anderson stadium! Class A, AA, B and C bands will perform all day starting at 5:00 pm, gates open at 4. The host band always performs last and we are truly hoping that folks will come out to support the band directors and students this year!
As a parent of a Senior Alto Saxaphone player, I may be a bit biased but these kids and their instructors work very hard all summer and through the season to perform at their very best and deserve our support. The Tri-Valley band is at the top of their game. This year they are truly seeing the fruits of their labor. As you may have seen in The Buzz they have already qualified for State a few times and won two Grand Champion Trophies! Trophies and awards are great but the kids cant take trophies with them when they leave Tri Valley! What they can take is the vivid memory of full bleachers and the sound of applause. That is really what means the most to the instructors, students and parents so please consider putting the Classic on your calendar!
Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students and the concession stand will be serving all types of home-cooked goodies and lots of hot chocolate! We hope to see you all there!
