The Dawgs landed a huge 18 – 0 shutout win on the road against West Holmes High School on Saturday, August 27th. The junior varsity team played the majority of the second half of the game for the Dawgs in this varsity-only matchup. For the team Devin Watts had five assists, Yuvi Bastola had three goals, Gael Osaguera had two goals and one assist, Sam Schott had two goals and four assists, Dominic Dale had two goals, Gage Hindel had four goals and one assist, Elijah Felumlee had one goal, Arpen Parekh had one goal, Oliver Baker had one goal, Ty Young had one goal and one assist, and Laetyn Holdsworth had one goal as well.
On Tuesday, August 30th, the boys traveled to Morgan where they grabbed a win against conference rivals the Raiders. In the 2 – 1 victory Gael Osaguera scored one goal, followed by Sam Schott who scored a goal off of a goal kick from being fouled in the box.
Back at the home field on Tuesday, September 6th, the boys lost to conference team Maysville in a tight 3 – 2 game.
The team will be headed to Johnstown on Saturday, September 10th, and will be back on home field at Kenny Wolford park on Tuesday, September 13th to face New Lexington.
