Tuesday, September 8th, at Rich Longaberger Court in Dresden the Scotties took on the Philo Lady Electrics Varsity Volleyball team. The Lady Dawgs were up for the challenge and wanting a win.
The Scotties took to the court and made quick work of their opponents in a 25 – 10 victory. The second game of the match was a lot closer with the Lady Electrics trying to make a comeback but Tri-Valley edged them out 25 – 23. In the final match the Lady Dawgs had built up enough momentum from the previous game to shut out the Lady Electrics and lock down the set with a 25 – 12 win bringing their MVL record to 3 – 2 and a 4 – 3 overall.
Top scorers for the night were Hannah King with 12 kills and a block, Abby Stanford with a 9 kills and 5 blocks, Lexi Howe with 3 kills and 4 digs, and Aubrey Fritter with 13 assists.
