Varsity Boys Soccer Earn 8th Win This Season

The Tri-Valley Varsity boys soccer squad wrapped up their 6th shut-out and 8th win on the season versus Philo. They lead the league with a perfect MVL record and have suffered only one loss at the feet of New Albany. Philo put up a great defensive front for the first half, holding Tri-Valley to two goals. Mason Dunn started the scoring off of the foot of Dylan Repuyan. Dylan continued the hot streak and delivered another quality assist through Zane Paisley. Lance Comstock fulfilled his expectations with 2 goals assisted by his teammate Sean Lacy early in the second half. Cai Reynolds struck the back of the net with two bullets for shots after receiving from Dustin Watts who is a pin-point passer. Overall, the Scotties took 14 shots on goal and nearly 25 shots total. Philo totaled 8 shots and had a phenomenal appearance by their goalkeeper who kept the damage to a minimum. Tri-Valley continues in league play with a Varsity only match at Morgan at 5:30 PM on Thursday 9/20.
