Tri-Valley volleyball nets Senior Night win vs West M. in regular

On Thursday night, October 10 in
Dresden at The Dawg House, Coach
Dani Lamonica and her Tri-Valley volley-
ball team closed out their regular sea-
son with a straight set 25-5, 25-20, 25-
10 win over visiting West Muskingum on
Senior Night.
In a pre-game ceremony, Lady Dawg
seniors Nora Dunn and Addison Wilson
were recognized and honored alongside
their parents, coaches and teammates.
In the West Muskingum victory, An-
nika Collet collected 12 kills and Cali
Berry made 12 digs, while Ingrid Dit-
tmar had 32 assists, Iris Lacy added
seven kills and Addison Wilson six kills
for the winners. Liv Reffitt added 21 digs
and seven aces and Emma Smith made
four blocks for Tri-Valley, who closed the
regular season with a 9-13 overall re-
cord and 7-9 in MVL play.
Olivia Drabik had 13 digs, six assists
and four kills, Ayla Tilton made nine digs
with four kills and Jules Bennett added
eight digs for West Muskingum.
Tri-Valley opens the postseason on
the road on Wednesday, October 16
when they play the No. 1 seed in the
D-III Southeast bracket, the Dover Lady
Tornadoes on Dover’s home floor.
Back on Tuesday, October 8 at Mor-
gan, the Lady Dawgs fell to the host
Lady Raiders 25-20, 20-25, 22-25, 25-
23, 15-9 in MVL Big School action.
For the Lady Dawgs, Annika Collet
had 14 kills and Reese Lamonica eight;
Liv Reffitt made 22 digs and Addison
Wilson 14; Ingrid Dittmar set 25 assists
with two aces; Iris Lacy went 18-of-18
