the big road win.
But this is 2024, and after a 1-2
start to their regular season (losses to
Licking Valley and Licking Heights, sand-
wiched around a Watkins Memorial win)
the surging Generals have won their last
five, including last Friday night’s 48-16
win at Morgan.
More significantly, the Generals
match unbeaten marks with the Scot-
ties in Muskingum Valley ‘Big School’ di-

Kick-off for THE GAME is set for 7:00
p.m. at Jack Anderson Stadium, where
in a pre-game ceremony (approx. 6:30
p.m.) Scottie senior football players (18
in number), will be recognized and hon-
ored alongside their parents, with the
seven senior cheerleaders and TVHS
senor cross-country runner Dalton Cro-
zier in the spotlight with their parents as
well.
Back on Friday night, Oct. 4 in Dres-

ties defeated an outmanned River View
squad by a 65-0 count, coming on a
night where the 2017 TV state runnerup
Scottie football team was inducted into
the school’s athletic Hall of Fame, along
with former TVHS All-Ohioan quarter-
