Tri-Valley boys soccer leveling out their record at 6-6-2

Vs. New Lexington (9/30)
Tri-Valley hosted New Lexington on
Tuesday in Dresden. The Panthers soon
saw that their chances were slim as the
Dawgs popped out goal after goal in a
four-goal run to end the first half.
The second half of the game only got
worse for the Panthers as Tri-Valley piled
on another five goals to take a huge 9 –
0 victory.
Vs. Marietta (9/25)
Thursday’s matchup in Dresden saw
the Marietta Tigers tune up the Scotties
by a score of 3 – 1 on their home field.
Corbin Ryan had the lone goal for the
Scotties with an assist from Layne Sow-
ers.
Vs. Philo (9/23)
In Duncan Falls on Tuesday night, the
Scotties were not goofing around as they
completely pummeled the Electrics 9 –
1. Layne Sowers had four goals for the
Dawgs, Corbin Ryan had two goals, and
teammates Cole Dougherty, Chris Car-
penter, and Blake Allen, each had one

Vs. Licking Valley (9/29)
The Licking Valley Panthers traveled to
Dresden on Monday to take on the Scot-
ties. The first round was a close battle
between the two teams, with Tri-Valley
coming out on top 25 – 19. In the sec-
ond round, the Lady Dawgs dug in their
heels and went to work, pumping out a
quick 25 – 11 win. Round three was still
dominated solely by the Scotties as they
swept the Panthers 3 – 0 in a final round
win of 25 – 14.
For the match, Ingrid Dittmar had
three kills, 27 assists, two aces, two
digs, two blocks, and 15 out of 16 serv-
ing. Reese Lamonica had six kills, one
ace, four digs, and two blocks, serving
10 out of 11. Emma Smith had 12 kills
and two blocks. Reagan Lamonica had
nine kills, one assist, one ace, seven
digs, and one block, serving eight out of
nine.
Vs. Crooksville (9/27)
On the road in Crooksville, Tri-Valley
was looking for another win as they
