        Vs. Tri-Valley (9/26)
Maysville knew they would face a
challenge when they hosted the Scot-
ties on Friday night. From the start, Tri-
Valley jumped out ahead 14 – 0 by the
end of the first quarter. The Panthers
fought back, closing in on the Dawgs,
but couldn’t completely catch them, and
they went to halftime down 29 – 21.
The Dawgs stepped onto the field af-
ter the break and never let up, as they
drove out a total of 57 points in the quar-
ter while holding Maysville to just one
more touchdown. The final quarter saw
no score from either team, so the Scot-
        ties won the evening 57 – 27.

        Vs. Coshocton (9/19)
While in Coshocton on Friday night,
the Panthers led the charge as they put
14 points on the board before the end
of the first period. The Redskins were
unable to retort as Maysville continued
their barrage with 20 points in the sec-
ond quarter to lead 34 – 0 at the break.
With a running clock in the second
half, the game moved quickly, not allow-
ing much to happen for either team, but
Maysville still managed a touchdown in
the third and fourth quarters each to put
        a cap on the evening for a 48 – 0 win.

Panthers’ quarterback senior Kade Rock fired off a pass downfield. Matthew Dotson
