Zanesville Junior Pioneers take three victories on the roads to tournament play

Vs. Turn2 Baseball (7/9)

The Junior Pioneers stopped by to see the Turn 2 baseball team on Wednesday.  Turn 2 took the lead and kept it, taking the win over Zanesville 6 – 1.

Vs. Capitals (7/8)

Zanesville dominated the Tuesday game against the Capitals, taking a 7 – 0 lead before the Capitals ended the game via forfeit, giving Zanesville the victory.

Vs. Bruins (7/6)

In a doubleheader against the Bruins on Sunday, Zanesville held its own in game one against the Bruins as they won the game 7 – 1. 

Game two was more of a challenge for the Jr. Pioneers as the Bruins edged them out 5 – 3 to take a draw on the doubleheader.

Vs. TNT (7/3)

The TNT baseball team came to Gant Stadium on Thursday to play the Junior Pioneers. TNT was quick to take the lead.  The Pioneers tried to battle back but fell short, losing the game 6 – 1.

Vs. Olentangy (7/2)

The Junior Pioneers traveled to Columbus to play Olentangy on Wednesday.  In a tightly contested game, the Jr. Pioneers squeezed by with a 2 – 0 victory.
