period played out the Lil’ Muskies were
just getting into the groove pummelling
their competition with a 28-point quar-

When the game continued after the
intermission, the Colts went step-for-
step with their hosts only allowing John
Glenn to get ahead by one shot with the
Muskies heading into the final quarter
of play up 67 – 39. The Muskies didn’t
let off of the gas in the final minutes as
they rallied together for a 16-point quar-
ter taking the final victory score of 83 –
48 over the Meadowbrook Colts.
Junior Stehl Bates had 17 points for
the Muskies, while classmates Brayden
Davis had 12, Ben Stamm and CJ Dolan
each had 11 points.
Vs Sheridan (1/11)
The Generals hosted Saturday’s game
against the Lil’ Muskies in Thornville.
John Glenn took charge after the tipoff
and although Sheridan tried to keep up
the Muskies jumped out to a 19 – 12
lead at the end of the first quarter. As
the first half evolved, John Glenn start-
ed to shut down the General’s offense
more and more and pumped out a 32 –
19 advantage heading into the intermis-
sion.
When the two teams resumed play,
the Generals showed new signs of life
after a hard analysis in the locker room
and out-shot the Lil’ Muskies in the third
quarter narrowing the gap down to nine
points with John Glenn leading 48 – 37
heading into the final period. Course-
correcting in the final minutes the visi-
tors stuck the victory with a 20-point
quarter taking the game by a score of
68 – 52.
Junior CJ Dolan had 19 points, two
rebounds, and six assists for the Lil’
Muskies. Junior Brayden Davis had 16
points, eight rebounds, and one assist
while classmate Stehl Bates had 14
points, three rebounds, and five assists.
