Adamsville Homecoming Provided Good Ol’ Small Town Fun

Adamsville was bustling as the kick-off for the Adamsville Homecoming arrived on Wednesday, July 21. The event started with the traditional grand parade which included classic cars, emergency vehicles, tractors, horses, area businesses, the Tri-Valley Marching Scotties, and even a large armadillo.

Besides the parade, the three-day event included various entertainment from dance groups, and musical performances, tractor pulls, kids games, rides, and fireworks signifying the conclusion of the homecoming on Saturday night.

The Adamsville Homecoming was the last of the Tri-Valley area Homecomings. Dresdens was just two weeks prior and Frazeysburg held theirs toward the middle of June.

Small-town fun will continue with another beloved event, the Dresden Melon Festival, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 7 beginning at 9.
