Tri-Valley senior Caity Journey will be attending Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU) in Delaware, Ohio this fall. She celebrated earlier this school year with a signing at Tri-Valley High School.
Some of her accomplishments at Tri-Valley include; multi-sport letters, two years of varsity volleyball with MVL honors, honors for MVL and Eastern District Division for two years, and she has received the Scholar Athlete Award for three years.
She has played softball for 15 years and in that time has played for Tri-Valley as well as travel teams such as the Bull Dogs, Texas Glory, and Ohio Emeralds. She also played volleyball since 7th grade.
After touring several options for college, Caity found the perfect match in OWU. She will be continuing her softball career while majoring in Physical Therapy. “I just want to keep playing, I was not really done. I’m excited to meet more people and friends, said Caity.”
