Muskingum University softball team clinched a spot in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament

Muskingum vs Otterbein doubleheader (4/27)

Otterbein came to New Concord on Senior Day.  The Muskies took a 4 – 0 lead right out of the gate and built it to a stammering 11 – 0 win in just four and a half innings.  

Game two went scoreless for the first three innings before the Muskies lit the scoreboard up in the fourth and fifth innings to build their 3 – 0 lead that they would hold all the way through the top of the seventh inning sweeping the Cardinals.

The win allowed Muskingum to clinch their spot in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament.

Muskingum vs John Carroll doubleheader (4/25)

At John Carroll, the Fighting Muskies were in charge as they took the lead in game one 1 – 0 after one inning and held that lead for the rest of the game. Taking a 1 – 0 win thanks to dominant performances by Kalie Eshelman and Madelyn Thomas.

Game two saw the Muskies leading 2 – 1 after one inning.  John Carroll was not able to recover and Muskingum built their lead to 5 – 1 to win game two.  

Muskingum vs Heidelberg doubleheader (4/20)

In game one at Heidelberg, the Fighting Muskies hit the scoreboard first taking a 3 – 0 lead by the top of the third inning but the Princes tied the game the same inning and jumped ahead while holding back the Muskies to grab a 9 – 3 victory.

Game two was a different story for the Fighting Muskies as they took the lead in inning one with a 1 – 0.  By the eighth inning, the two teams were tied at 2 each but Muskingum pulled it out with a 3 – 2 win for game two.
