Visit Zanesville is proud to announce the recipients of the second round of the 2026 Muskingum County Tourism Development Grant, a program that invests in projects and experiences designed to attract visitors, encourage overnight stays, and strengthen Muskingum County’s tourism economy.
Following the committee review process, the second-round grant recipients are:
- A Taste of Ohio Wine Bourbon & Beer
- Artist Colony of Zanesville
- The Bright Spot Campground & Marina
The Tourism Development Grant Committee is comprised of Visit Zanesville staff and members of the Zanesville-Muskingum County Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors. Visit Zanesville extends its sincere appreciation to the board members who generously volunteered their time and expertise to thoughtfully review each application and help guide the selection process.
Visit Zanesville also thanks each grant recipient for their creativity, innovation, and commitment to developing experiences that inspire travelers to visit Muskingum County. Their efforts help strengthen the local tourism economy while creating memorable experiences for both visitors and residents.
The 2026 Muskingum County Tourism Development Grant is funded through county lodging tax revenue and reinvested directly into initiatives that encourage travel, increase visitor spending, and support local tourism partners. Through two rounds of funding each year, the program helps bring new events, attractions, and visitor experiences to communities across Muskingum County.
In addition to the Tourism Development Grant, Visit Zanesville’s Print Marketing Program remains open, offering tourism partners assistance with print advertising and promotional materials. Applications for the Print Marketing Program will be accepted through November 1, 2026.
