On Wednesday, July 15th, the parking lots for both schools and the Dresden Swim Center were filled beyond capacity as the Dorados hosted the 2026 TCAL Championships, which featured nearly 2,000 swimmers, coaches, families, volunteers, and fans from the 13 member teams of the Tri-County Aquatic League.
The first 45 events of the day were for the 11-and-over TCAL swimmers. The Dorados team of Apsen Rainwater, Jerika Paisley, Candace Louise Shipp, and Olivia Williams took sixth place in the Girls 11-12 200 Yard Medley Relay. Kendrick Kimble, Jaxson Adams, Matt Smith, and Eli Arbuckle swam in eighth place in the Boys 11-12 200 Yard Medley Relay. In the Girls 13-14 200 Yard Medley Relay, the team of Lennon Tompkins, Kate Cunningham, Rylinn Martin, and Kenzie Roach took seventh place. Likewise, in the Boys 13-14 200 Yard Medley Relay, the Dorados team of Bryan Jiang, Creed Fuhriman, Evan James, and Kamden Buckner took seventh. Dresden’s team of Riley Gottardi, Camryn Cunningham, Stella Fuhriman, and Nora Dillehay finished in sixth place in the Womens 15-18 200 Yard Medley Relay. In sixth place in the Mens 15-18 200 Yard Medley Relay was the team of Tanner Mohler, Coen Fuhriman, Kollin Buckner, and Tyler Mohler.
Stella Fuhriman took fifth place for the Dorados in the Womens 15-18 50 Yard Freestyle, and Camryn Cunningham took eighth in the same event. Tyler Mohler had the top time of 22.90 for the Dorados in the Mens 15-18 50 Yard Freestyle. Mohler also took second in the Mens 15-18 100 Yard Freestyle. Kendrick Kimble took fourth in the Boys 11-12 50 Yard Backstroke for Dresden, and teammate Jaxson Adams took seventh in the event. Bryan Jiang took fourth for the Dorados in the Boys 13-14 50 Yard Backstroke. Riley Gottardi scored fourth in the Womens 15-18 100 Yard Backstroke. Tanner Mohler was the second-place finisher in the Mens 15-18 100 Yard Backstroke. Camryn Cunningham took fifth for the Dorados in the Womens 15-18 100 Yard Breaststroke. In the Girls 13-14 50 Yard Butterfly, Rylinn Martin took eighth place. Evan James took eighth in the Boys 13-14 50 Yard Butterfly. Stella Fuhriman swam in fourth in the Womens 15-18 50 Yard Butterfly. In the Mens 15-18 50 Yard Butterfly, Tanner Mohler took sixth for the Dorados. In the Boys 11-12 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the team of Eli Arbuckle, Slate McDonald, Jaxson Adams, and Kendrick Kimble took eighth. The relay team of Kenzie Roach, Grace Parkhill, Lennon Tompkins, and Rylinn Martin took fifth in the Girls 13-14 200 Yard Freestyle Relay. In the Boys 13-14 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, Evan James, Kamden Buckner, Creed Fuhriman, and Bryan Jiang took sixth. In the Womens 15-18 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the team of Camryn Cunningham, Nora Dillehay, Riley Gottardi, and Stella Fuhriman took fifth. In the Mens 15-18 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, the team of Tanner Mohler, Kollin Buckner, Coen Fuhriman, and Tyler Mohler took fourth, while the team of JT Allison, Eli Woytko, Evan Beckner, and Dylan Devlin took eighth place.
