Hanover Post 764 Jr Legion tried to catch up after falling behind 2 – 0 on Tuesday on the road with a run in the top of the following inning, but that was all they could pull off in a 9 – 1 defeat.
Bentley Minton was first on the Mound for Hanover; he gave up four hits and six runs over three innings, striking out four and walking five. Ryder McDonald went 1-2 with 1 run. McDonald and Martin Little each had a hit for Hanover. The team turned one double play in the game.

At home in Don Edwards Park, Hanover led the game on Monday with a run in the bottom of the first inning, and three more in the bottom of the second to lead 4 – 0. Hanover’s opponent started to catch up with a run in the top of each of the next two innings, but after four innings it was Hanover up 7 – 2. Five runs in the top of the fifth led to Hanover ending the game tied up at 7 – 7.
