Blizzard of OZZ: The Ozzy and Rhoads Tribute was the first band to perform during Our Town Coshocton’s 5th annual Summer Concert Series. Diary of a Madman and Mama I’m Coming Home were just a couple of the hits performed by the band to a massive crowd spanning the Coshocton County Courthouse lawn on Saturday, June 20. Amazing guitar solos, heavy bass riffs, and thumping double bass drum beats could be heard throughout downtown, and of course, the on-point vocal performance from Mark Lavoie, who captured “Prince of Darkness'” look and stage presence. Other band members are Damiano Christian (guitar), Paul Sylvia (bass), and Kenny Evans (drums).

Blizzard of Ozz was just the first of a summer full of well-known bands and classic rock music. Next up is 7 Bridges (Eagles tribute) on July 18, The Weeklings (Beatles tribute) on August 15, and E5C4P3 (Journey tribute) on September 13. The next two concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m., with the final concert in September beginning at 3:00 p.m. These family-friendly concerts are held at the Coshocton court square and are free and open to the public.
“This concert series is all about bringing the community together through great music,” said board president Tom Barcroft from Our Town Coshocton. “We’re thrilled to offer another amazing summer lineup, and we couldn’t do it without the incredible support of our sponsors and the Coshocton community.”
