Home décor shop Timber & Grace is officially open for business

Owner and Founder Sheryl Knabb opened Timber & Grace, a home décor shop just outside New Concord. They celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony and a day full of demonstrations, refreshments, and discounts.

“We like to put our own little decorative touches, our own little creative touches and things. So, there’s things that we make and design and there’s things we bring in just to add the extra in there. So, it’s a wide combination. We carry some DIY products that for the people who like to do hands-on. We’ve got Iron Orchid Designs, we’ve got Cece Caldwell’s paints. They’re great products and we carry Milk House Candles and we’ve got a candle bar, so you can make your own candles,” said Knabb.

During the grand opening, demonstrations and classes were held featuring Cece Caldwell’s paints (all natural chalk and clay paint that is made in the USA and is 100% non-toxic) and Iron Orchid Designs products. Décor molds, décor transfers, paint inlays, and décor stamps by Iron Orchid Designs are all available in the store.

The boutique carries a selection of products that are all made by the Knabbs. “I’m calling them the Timber and Grace line, home line, because there’s things that I make, he makes.”

“My husband and I have always been like hands-on people. So we did a lot of our house, we’ve always been crafty, we’ve always been family-centered, home-centered. And he does custom woodworking, which he’s been doing for several years,” explained Knabb. “So it sounds funny, this is kind of our retirement project.”

Timber & Grace is located at 57365 Fritter Road, New Concord. They can be found online at timberandgrace.com and on Facebook.
