Both teams continued to battle through the innings without another score until Philo tacked on three runs in the top of the ninth inning, 5 – 2. Answered quickly with three matching runs by the Wildcats, 5 – 5, to send the game into extra innings. The game continued on to the 11th inning without a break in the scoring until the Wildcats grabbed a run in the bottom of the inning to win 6 – 5, and end the Electrics playoff run.

Vs. Maysville (5/21)

Philo hosted the Maysville Panthers on Thursday in Duncan Falls. The Electrics struck first with a run in the bottom of the first inning to lead 1 – 0, and backed it up with another run in the bottom of the second, 2 – 0. The Panthers nabbed a run in the top of the third inning to keep from a shutout, but that was the only run the Electrics allowed them as the home team tacked on a run in the fourth and two more in the fifth to take the game 5 – 1 after six and a half innings, giving Philo the Division IV Region 15 Sectional Title.
