Third annual Dresden Truck and Motorcycle Show has record turnout

An array of colorful trucks, vans, and motorcycles were on display on Saturday, September 16 at Country Crossroads (the old mill) located at 3685 Cass Irish Ridge Road, Dresden for the Dresden Truck and Motorcycle Show. This was the third year for the event which is held just about a month ahead of the annual Country Crossroads Education of Yesterday Farm Show. The farm show will be held the third weekend in October at the same location.

“We started this event to raise awareness to this venue, and to bring attention to the farm show in October. All money made by the show was donated back to the Moore family to support the farm show efforts,” explained Keith Anthony, one of the organizers of the event.

Anthony added, “I was very good friends with the late Kenny Moore, and it was always his goal to introduce new people to the hobby that we all love. What better way to get new people than to try something new and different like the truck show.”

The Dresden Truck and Motorcycle Show’s title sponsor this year was Cartime Express located in Dover, Ohio. Participants could enter in one of two classes, trucks or motorcycles. Best of show for 2023 in the truck category went to Mike Cottrell of Senecaville with his yellow 1999 KB3 International. In the motorcycle class, Jeff Graham of Cambridge took Best of Show sporting his 2012 Cleveland Heist. There were so many eye-catching rides it would be hard to pick just one from each category.

“It was encouraging to see new and different trucks attend this year, we obviously had great weather, but it was the biggest turnout we have had to date,” said Anthony.
