Tara Watts, owner of Beauty by Design Floral Boutique & The Dresden Brew Coffee Cafe started a Thursday night entertainment series in The Victory Garden next to her shop located at 807 Main Street in Dresden. Entertainment is scheduled for most Thursdays through October 17 from 6 to 8 pm.
“I have been thinking of ways to incorporate things for the community since I opened my shop in November 2022. A few things that I have already implemented: “mystery” book club, women’s devotional club, artistic and creative events focusing around family & friends. As of late, I was trying to figure out what I could offer for the community during the summer months that would be enjoyed at no cost to the families and music is one my favorite things to enjoy so I went with it.”

Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and experience live entertainment in the quaint village of Dresden. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and chips are available for purchase each evening and can be ordered inside the coffee shop. The event provides a perfect opportunity to check out the rest of what Dresden has to offer. Come early, walk Main Street, and check out the various shops along the way. Make a day of it and bring the family! Take the kids swimming at the Dresden Swim Center or bring your bikes and go for a ride on the 6-mile Muskingum Recreational Trail.
