West Muskingum Swept Up the Philo Electrics In a 21 – 0 Homecoming Twister

The Tornadoes celebrated their homecoming game in style as they took to the field against The Electrics for a forceful win that bumped their current record up to 4 – 1 overall with a 1 – 0 MVL record.

West Muskingum’s middle linebacker Carter Winland carried the ball in for a 7-yard touchdown in a second and six play in the first quarter of the game.

In the second quarter, quarterback Jake Anton threw a fifteen-yard pass to wide receiver Carter Smith but held at 7 – 0 going into halftime.

After halftime the Tornadoes continued their offensive but didn’t lock in their two final touchdowns until the fourth quarter.

On a thirteen-play drive for the endzone, #3 Rashid Sesay pushed through the defense for a 2-yard touchdown bringing the West Muskingum lead up to 14 – 0.

The final score of the night came with just 1:17 on the clock when Sesay shot through for a 1-yard touchdown and repeat performance that ended the scoring for the game at 21 – 0.

The Tornadoes head to Maysville to face the Panthers on Friday, September 22nd, game time is at 7pm.
