West Muskingum vs John Glenn (3/28)

A trip to New Concord was on the schedule for Thursday as the Tornadoes made their way to John Glenn High School to play the Lil’ Muskies.  After a slow first inning with no score for either team, the Tornadoes picked up two runs in the second inning thanks to a single by Ansel and a fielder’s choice by McGreevy.  The boys kept hitting into the top of the third inning where they popped their lead up to 7 – 0 including a line-drive to right field by Sesay.  West M rounded out their scoring by the end of the fifth inning piling up an 11 – 0 lead that lead them to a mercy win over John Glenn.

West Muskingum vs Logan (3/27)

The Tornadoes traveled to Logan on Wednesday to face the Chieftains on their home field.  West Muskingum took the lead with three runs right out of the gate off of a single by Ansel, a steal by Houston, and a double by McGreevy.  The Tornadoes had built their lead to 11 – 0 by the top of the sixth inning.  Logan came back in the bottom of the sixth to score one run but it was too little too late as West M took an 11 – 1 win.
