Cub Scouts participate in the annual Muskingum Valley Council pinewood derby

The Muskingum Valley Council Cub Scout 500 took place once again in the Colony Square Mall. The event was held on Sunday, March 29.

Pinewood derby participants went head-to-head racing their custom-designed cars in several events, including the main event – the MVC Cub Scout 500, the MVC Cub Scout 500 Turtle Race, MVC Hot Wheels Race, and MVC Open Race.

The top three finishers for the Cub Scout 500 were Gunner S. in first, Miles B. in second, and Stephen H. in third.

Eli L. captured the coveted Turtle Race Champion trophy.

Results for the top three Hot Wheels champions are Reanna F., Grayson O., and Gunner S. in first through third, respectively.

Lastly, for the Open Race, Leon F. captured first place with Bob M. and Gunner S. following in second and third.
