Chatty Cat Café holds first-ever fashion show featuring adoptable cats
Sister businesses The Chatty Cat Closet and The Chatty Cat Café brought the cattitude to the runway in a Colony Square Mall first. Rescues & Runways: Catwalks, Coffee & Cats was held just outside of the entrance to The Chatty Cat Closet near the mall’s food court.
Volunteer models showcased various fashionable styles for sale while pushing adorable adoptable cats in strollers along the catwalk. Owner Erica Roberts was the MC for the event, announcing the volunteer models who strutted their stuff while giving a preview of what both businesses have to offer. It was a creative collaboration that was both entertaining and beneficial.

Roberts and her staff have been working non-stop to make a huge impact on the lives of rescue cats and the people who adopt them, placing over 485 cats in loving homes since opening Chatty Cat Café three years ago. Her newest venture, The Chatty Cat Closet, recently completed its pop-up period and has become a mainstay at the mall. Much like selling coffee, food, and drinks at the cafe, the sales from the boutique help to fund the needs and care of the cats awaiting adoption. The boutique sells donated, gently used clothing items for women and men, fashion accessories, and a select collection of home decor. The 2000s vibe, trendy changing rooms, and fun atmosphere make for a shopping experience like no other.

The Chatty Cat Closet is open from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Noon to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Hours for The Chatty Cat Café are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (closed from 2:00 to 2:30 for a cat nap) Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Both businesses are located in the Colony Square Mall at 3575 Maple Avenue in Zanesville.
